And when the state of pain is all that is left,
All you can do is take it all in.
No painkillers, no medicine.
You just let it all sink in.

Ignorance is a bliss they say,
But I’ll take bliss any day.
Knowledge can be cumbersome,
too much can kill someone.

Killing me from the inside out,
killing me knowing without.
Slithering with poison in every step.
Exponentially increasing, closer to death.

I sometimes wonder why can’t we just flow like time.
As smooth as butter, as perfect as a nursery rhyme.
Grooving like no other, ticking like a metronome.
Steady sailing, like chilling in a summer home.

It ends.
